Katie Young

          It feels like I've wanted to be an actor since birth. It has been confirmed that I've wanted to be an actor since I was ten, according to the ancient tome Palmetto Elementary Digital Yearbook 2001, but evidence has been found to imply that I wanted to be one much, much before that (see: Young Family Home Video collection, 1990-2000).

          Born in Orlando, raised in Miami, went to Florida State; I am a Florida girl through and through. I think that's why Los Angeles felt like home so fast after I moved there in 2012. It's pretty much Miami without the humidity. Which means I have to drink my water through my mouth hole now instead of just absorbing it from the atmosphere. Gross.

          Since moving out here I've been kicking some mega-butt; booking wonderfully nerdy projects like fan favorite Joker Rising and P3's Grayson: Earth One, taking classes at UCB, and having a small bout of internet fame as the Miley Cyrus in Rebecca Black's Saturday video. It might not seem like that big of a deal to you, but buzzfeed made a gif of me. SERIOUSLY.
